Servo motors

Article-Servo motors

The co. introduces its AM3500 Series servo motors, which are suited for machine-tool axes with stringent synchronism requirements. The motor flanges, connectors and shafts are compatible with the co.'s AM3000 motors, and are available with flange sizes from 3 to 6, torques between 1.9 and 15 nm and rated speeds of 3,000 and 6,000 rpm. Resolvers or absolute encoders (single- or multi-turn) are available as a feedback system. The standard protection class is IP 64 with IP 65/67 available as an option. This motor series is also CE-, UL- and CSA-listed, the co. says, and the series features low-inertia servo motors, including a compact size, which is achieved via pole wound stator winding.
