Ultra-high-speed inkjet coder

The new 1620 and 1650 Ultra High Speed (UHS) inkjet printers are designed to deliver high-quality codes at speeds of at 1,666 ft per min (508 meters per min), which is up to 40 percent faster than the prior industry benchmark, the company's Excel UHS. The systems incorporate the Precision Ink Drop system, which combines industry leading printhead technology, powerful software capability and specially formulated inks. The patented CleanFlow printhead helps reduce unplanned downtime. Designed to resist ink build-up that can lead to a shutdown, the patented CleanFlow printhead provides a positive flow of filtered air for more reliable, clear and consistent codes, even at the end of long production runs. The unique printhead design and long-lasting core also minimizes planned downtime due to long intervals—up to 14,000 hours—between planned routine maintenance cycles.
