U.S. Tsubaki Launches New Interactive Website and Centralized Product Platform to Better Serve Engineers

U.S. Tsubaki, a pioneer in the development and manufacturing of power transmission and motion control products, has worked closely with the Enterprise Solutions Group of Thomas Industrial Network to create a central, online platform to host all of its product information. This information can now be streamed into multiple channels such as their website as well as distributor channels.

From roller chains to engineering class chains, power transmission components, sprockets and cable hose carriers, engineers can now access any one of thousands of individual products from one central website - http://ustsubaki.com. U.S. Tsubaki, a subsidiary of Tsubakimoto Chain Company, maintains ongoing partnerships with engineers in the energy, mining, oil and gas, food processing, forestry and packaging/conveyor markets that have led to the development of innovative products that are helping engineers around the world to be more efficient and innovative in their own projects.

With Thomas' Enterprise Solution, engineers can search by part number or keyword, and access detailed specs, images and PDFs. They can compare several similar products, sorted by multiple characteristics (such as dimensional data, materials and features) all on one, easy to read screen. Additionally, a complete online library of 2D and 3D CAD drawings makes it easy for prospective customers to insert U.S. Tsubaki's product into their own detailed and complex project designs.

Additionally, an online attachment chain configurator allows users to create complex drawings on demand. The amount of detailed content on the website has the added benefit of driving the U.S. Tsubaki brand to the top of Internet searches. The more specific an engineer's search for an item,¬ the greater the likelihood U.S. Tsubaki will be among the first results.

"Access to detailed data is everything in our business," said Rich Renk, Vice President of Sales. "We wanted to share our knowledge online and be an invaluable resource to engineers who need our products and services," he added. "We're already seeing huge benefits to our customers by helping to minimize errors, improving quality control and creating efficiencies with this access to information. We no longer have to worry about manual processes creating errors."

Using Thomas' Navigator Platform as the central source for its data, U.S. Tsubaki is now able to syndicate all of its detailed product information to its key distributors - each, in the unique format required. "Providing our data in multiple custom formats to each distributor had always been a challenge for us," said Mr. Renk. "For the first time ever we can rest assured that our product line is being fully represented. That in itself is worth the price of admission."

In addition, the company offers a free technical guide: The Complete Guide to Chain, a reference for chains used in power transmission and conveyance applications
