Running at speeds up to 45 cases/trays per minute, the Performance-Series PC-4500 continuous-motion wraparound case packer provides tight packages, minimizing the need for partitions while protecting containers from damage. Automatic insertion of partitions, dividers or pads is optional, though. As a wraparound system, the PC-4500 uses up to 20 percent less corrugated material than conventional regular slotted cases (RSC) for significant material savings. It collates metal, paper, glass or plastic containers into patterns, loads them and seals the cases/tray with hot melt glue to produce a finished, shippable pack. Watch a video here.
