With non-alcoholic beer sales booming, brand owners ranging from craft brewers to global players are investing in this segment of the beer market. What better time to look at a selection of their non-alcoholic packaging designs than Sober October?

Marketing research firm NielsenIQ reports that non-alcoholic beer, wine, and spirits jointly enjoyed sales of more than $565 million in 2023 — up 35% from the prior year. Non-alcoholic beer alone will be a $2 billion industry in the next five years, Anheuser-Busch predicts.

Consumers’ interest in health, moderation, and active lifestyles will be a key driver of the growth. Accordingly, many non-alcoholic beer packaging designs feature colors and images that cue outdoor adventures, blue skies, and golden sunshine.
