Pepsi spokesman Shaquille O’Neal cuts up on a mini holiday-baking show to promote the gingerbread-themed mini cans.
PepsiCo and Shaq are paying homage to the holidays with a new seasonal flavor, Pepsi Zero Sugar Gingerbread, packaged in limited-edition mini cans.
Package graphics transform the can into a circular gingerbread house with details outlined in white icing. Gingerbread men — including one inside the house, peering through a window —decorate the can, together with cookies shaped like a bear, a Christmas tree, and snowflakes.

Secondary packaging for the mini can continues the gingerbread-house theme. The paperboard box, with a die-cut to display the can, positions the mini as a gift. PepsiCo’s in-house team created the packaging design.

In the spirit of holiday giving, the 7.5-ounce Pepsi Zero Sugar Gingerbread mini cans are not sold in stores or online. They were only available for free, for a limited time, through promotions on TikTok and at Pepsi’s website.
Starting on December 4, 2024, consumers could get a single Pepsi Zero Sugar Gingerbread mini can for free at Pepsi’s TikTok Shop if they bought two 10-packs of Pepsi Original or Wild Cherry in mini cans.
“Less than 24 hours after dropping on TikTok Shop, Pepsi Zero Sugar Gingerbread Mini Cans ran out due to overwhelming demand,” a brand spokesperson reports. “This festive flavor — blending Pepsi’s iconic fizz with brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and molasses — has become the must-have holiday treat.”
For nearly a week after TikTok ran out of the mini cans, consumers could still enter the Pepsi Drops Giveaway at Pepsi.com to win one. The giveaway ended on December 11.
Pepsi mini cans originally launched in November 2023. Shaq helped the brand out then, too, starring in a TV commercial that good-naturedly noted the contrast between Shaq’s height and the can’s small size. The commercial ran on national sports broadcasts.
