Model 400 case labler is offered as a high-speed print-and-apply case labeler that is said to reliably encode, verify and apply RFID tags at speeds to 50/min. The co. says the system reaches this rate by using head-to-toe label rolls rather than the traditional side-to-side orientation. Thus, the label's shorter side—its height—is fed to the tamp pad, with the length applied across the case and with improved ergonomics, since the label roll is lower to the ground, the co. reports.
