Uni Core Holdings Corp., an aggressive 'company doctor' and 'incubator' of mid- to large-size companies in China, announced that, as of the first half of 2011, Suzhou Eastern Sunrise Paper Products Co., Ltd.of APT Paper Group, a wholly-owned company by UCHC, has replaced the traditional packaging technology with honeycomb paper technology, and become the overall product packaging supplier for ASUS, Inventec and BenQ. Focusing on the definition of electronic components and the vulnerable characteristic of computer products, Suzhou Eastern Sunrise developed an appropriate solution for overall computer packaging by using honeycomb paper technology.

The main recognition by the customers after Suzhou Eastern Sunrise entered into the computer packaging industry is:

1.Employ a professional R & D team with rich packaging experience to provide customers with complete set of packaging design and a fully environmental packaging solution.

2.Use recycled honeycomb cardboard as main material which is designated as exempt environmentally friendly packaging material in many countries; therefore, the price of finished products is lower than plastic and wooden products of the same requirements which are especially suitable for one-time use by the export enterprises.

3.With the use of honeycomb paper, the packaging product is environmentally friendly and is recyclable.

4.With the use of honeycomb paper, the packaging is light and simple; it avoids the assembly problems arising from the wooden and iron packaging which helps improve the assembly efficiency.

Thomas Lee, chief operating officer of UCHC said, "The tailor-made overall packaging solution provided by Suzhou Eastern Sunrise with its advanced honeycomb paper technology is recognized by the computer industry, which is very demanding in packaging. Suzhou Eastern Sunrise will continue expanding its business to extend the application of honeycomb paper technology to other industries."
