Sirane Si-bag cook-in-bag packaging
The Si-bag is a cook-in bag that, according to the manufacturer, which allows the flavors of food to be sealed in for simple, tasty cooking. It is designed to be used in a conventional oven up to 200 deg C, in a microwave, or in a freezer for subsequent reheating and eating. It is composed of high-temperature-resistant film; the food is sealed in using a fold-over flap, which reportedly helps make the bag odor- and leak-proof. Food manufacturers can insert flavoured butters, glazes, juices and other additives with the meat or vegetables inside.
