A new lightweight, 4.25-gal rectangular plastic container, the 36BR, is designed to provide better cube efficiency and volume packaging of food, other consumer items and DIY products. Suitable for liquids as well as moist, dry and frozen goods, the rigid containers tolerate a wide temperature range. They also have good stacking strength. They “nest” closely to maximize the number of units/pallet and truckloads for fewer shipments. They offer an efficient use of plastic, the co. states. The pail is made of HDPE or PP. Hinged lids are available that easily reseal and feature a tamper-evident tearstrip.
