North American branded food company Conagra Brands Inc. named Alexandre “Ale” Eboli as executive vice president and its chief supply chain officer effective August 2. The current occupant of the role, Dave Biegger, is set to retire from the firm at the end of its fiscal year.
In the position, Eboli will take on end-to-end supply chain responsibilities and lead the manufacturing, procurement, environment, health and safety, plant quality, logistics, and transportation and warehousing teams.
“Ale is an exceptional leader who brings a proven track record of success in strengthening supply chain operations,” Sean Connoly, president and CEO of Conagra Brands, said in a recent company release. “We are excited to welcome him to Conagra, and I look forward to working together to ensure we deliver exceptional value for all our stakeholders.”
Eboli worked for more than two decades in global end-to-end supply chain leadership roles in the consumer packaged goods industry, including positions in finance, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, and planning. He formerly served as Head of Supply Chain, North America for The Unilever Group, managing manufacturing facilities and co-manufacturers that produce personal care, food, and ice cream products, and their related planning, procurement, manufacturing, engineering, logistics, quality, manufacturing excellence, and customer service functions.
“It’s an exciting time to be joining Conagra Brands,” Eboli said in the release. “The company offers a culture of success, an exceptionally talented employee base, and a strong portfolio of iconic and emerging brands. I look forward to bringing my expertise to Conagra to help accelerate innovation and growth.”
