A new, environmentally friendly approach to cushioning replaces bubble wrap and other plastic or foam-based materials with cost-effective, protective paper. The material and a companion dispensing station, from HexcelPack, offer benefits for participants throughout the supply chain.

HexcelPack uses slit-paper technology to convert extensible paper into 3D cushioning. The paper is cut with precise slits at specific angles, which makes the paper flex. This expands the material’s volume and boosts the strength and stiffness of the paper fibers.

To dispense the lightweight, interlocking material, the company offers the Mini Packing Station, an easy-to-use, space-saving manual dispenser. The HexcelWrap paper and dispenser offer product protection and packing simplicity for ecommerce sellers, retail catalog companies, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical brand owners, third-party logistics providers, and contract packagers.

HexcelPack will be exhibiting this new product at Pack Expo Las Vegas 2021 (Las Vegas Convention Center, September 27-29), Booth SU-8425.
