Aseptic milk heads to the baseball park

Organic Valley launches milk in a shelf-stable, single-serve Prisma Aseptic(R) package from Tetra Pak (www.tetrapak.com) to fans of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, available inside Fox Cities Stadium, located in Appleton, WI. The 8-oz pack's ambient features were recognized by the ball club as an innovative way to store and distribute milk while preventing spoilage. The Organic Valley Prisma holds 1-percent, lowfat chocolate milk—the same milk the company packs in refrigerated cartons and sells at grocery stores. However, it's shelf-stable for up to one year. The single-serve Prisma is made of a multilayer laminate incorporating polyethylene, adhesive, foil, paperboard, metallized polypropylene, flexo printing in four-color process and PE. It has an easy-open pull-tab and Its grab-'n-go format is also kid-friendly.
