The redesigned KBS-PL f/f/s machine handles face-seal blister and trapped blister packages. Modifications include a focus on speedy changeover, which requires no hand tools and can be performed in 10 to 15 min. Simple forming format changes can be done within a minute. The improved pneumatic sealing station is oil-free and increases cycle speed. With a forming area of 250×500 mm and a card-sealing area of 300×600 mm, the system runs at 18 to 20 cycles/min and handles more than 200 packages/min.
