Color label printer

The new VP495 color printer allows companies to generate labels on demand that are suitable for outdoor and/or harsh environments, as they stand up to chemicals such as isopropyl alcohol, Windex, petroleum-based cleaners and others (result varies with media type). The system prints up to 8 in. wide at 1,200 dpi and can handle a 10-in. external diameter label roll. No additional costs or processes are needed, such as coating or laminating. The VP495 features large separate ink tanks for each color, which can be changed discretely. The tanks operate in conjunction with long-life printheads to reduce the frequency of replacements, as well as the unnecessary waste and costs associated with tri-color ink cartridges that many users face today. The VP495 can also create customized product and package labels with variable color, images, text and bar code content for a variety of markets, including horticultural, chemical, hardware and chilled food and beverage labels.
