An optional interlocked guard structure is offered by the co. for its Lakso® cottoning machines. Reportedly made of Lexan®, the frame completely encloses the cottoner for operator safety, with a touchscreen panel and a reject bin located outside the guarding for ease of access. Opening doors results in a shutdown and signals an alarm. Models accepting the guard are 100, 200 and 300, the co. says.
