Compact (32x37-mm) Type 2 and Type 4 light curtains offer finger and hand protection or presence control with an operating distance up to 19 m and controlled heights from 150 to 1,800 mm. Designed for safety, the light curtains feature integrated functions including test/restart and auto/manual restart. Type 4 light curtains are designed for operating point protection on equipment, such as paper-cutting machines or presses. Available in hand- and finger-control versions, the light curtains can be aligned using a 7-segment display on either the emitter or receiver. The co.'s Type 2 series can be used in automated warehouses, to prevent machine restarts and for use in robotic manufacturing. Two models include a basic and an extended model.
