Yaskawa's Sigma Trac integrates the company's linear motor components into a factory engineered and assembled linear actuator. The Sigma Trac design (SGT Series) incorporates a linear motor driven slide design that's designed to reduce machine design complexity and commissioning time. Automatic motor recognition by Yaskawa amplifiers is said to eliminate the need for the user to input motor coil parameters. The company says the SGT Series is available in a wide variety of stroke lengths, with extremely high top speed and acceleration capability.
