Mirel™ producer reportedly agrees to supply biodegradable resin to a bag mfr. for the production of BioTuf™ compostable film. Bags formed using the resin are said to provide improved toughness and tensile properties yielding higher performance and compostability. The resin is biodegradable in a wide range of environments.
