Aiming to attract new consumers to its premium skyr yogurt, Icelandic Provisions worked with Turner Duckworth to create a disruptive packaging redesign. Skyr is a thick, creamy Icelandic yogurt.

A new logo, in the shape of a Viking longboat, and vibrant colors are central to the new package graphics. The redesign expanded retail distribution and increased sales after its launch in the summer of 2021.

Designalytics reports that sales per point of distribution increased 6.4% following the launch. In addition, sales increased by 16% in the six months post-launch, compared with the same period a year earlier.
