Discerning FSMA’s impact on packaging operations

The Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) that President Obama signed into law on January 4, 2011, represents landmark legislation with broad implications that requires companies to meet higher standards in their production operations and processes in order to strengthen food safety.
