Responsibilities:
Lead Safety Excellence and Overall Compliance in the department
Lead the Effective Implementation of MBM and Operations Excellence
Lead and Develop employees to Improve Capability and Performance
Lead Quality, Productivity, and Cost Control Improvements
Lead adherence to work processes (Area and Shift)
Strategic Leadership (Vision, Goals, Objectives, and Plans) of department

In successfully fulfilling the above responsibilities, the incumbent will: collaborate with support teams, accelerate the training, development and certification of department employees, coach subordinates on use of new tools for execution of work processes, team with; Optimizer, O/M Gatekeeper, Asset Availability Leader (AAL) as well as Project, Process Control, Process and Reliability Engineering groups to: evaluate, prioritize, and process all asset improvement ideas to improve current capability.

Education: Engineering Degree or comparable work experience, required. Basic Qualifications Engineering Degree with 7+ yrs. of operations or maintenance experience. Knowledge - Skills - Abilities Leadership and facilitator skills; strong understanding of the pulping process; strong interpersonal and technical troubleshooting skills; project management abilities; strong communication skills; Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills; strong computer skills with emphasis on Excel, functional data bases, and data analysis.
