For versatile, multi-product applications, the co. offers the Ishida inspection system that reportedly detects metal and such nonmetallic materials as glass, bone, shell and plastic. The co. says system accuracy isn't affected by product temperature, salt and water content, retort pouches, aluminum foil and cans.
