A new flow wrapper suited for packaging food and medical products can help users cut the time required to switch between package format types and reduce waste.

The ReeFlow 50 horizontal flow wrapper features lugged infeed conveying with quick and easy pitch changeover. It has five motors and automatic format change, and can cut film waste thanks to a standard photoelectric sensor to ensure “no product, no bag.”

Offering three sides of sealing as well as easy cleaning due to its stainless-steel cantilevered construction, the ReeFlow 50 comes in top and bottom seal configurations and in standard and wide widths.

Made by Italy-based Reepack, the ReeFlow 50 machines are available in North America from Ossid, part of the flexibles and trays business line of packaging equipment manufacturer ProMach.

Ossid will be exhibiting this new product at Pack Expo Las Vegas 2021 (Las Vegas; September 27-29), Booth C-3014.
