These RoHS-compliant threaded plugs are used to close bore holes with cylindrical tapered internal thread. The tightness depends on the medium, pressure, temperature and material pairing. The design with GPC thread coating provides a higher degree of safety.
The plugs are offered in zinc plated, blue passivated steel or in stainless steel. Both are available with or without a GPC (Precote 5) thread coating. Metric tapered pipe thread sizes from M8 x 1.0 to M48 x 1.5 are available, as well as BSPT British Standard Pipe Tapered, thread sizes R 1/8 to R 11Ž2.
