Printed electronic technology is showcased in a new temperature indicator developed by Ynvisible Interactive in collaboration with SpotSee. The TempSafe Electrocard is an electronic smart label that can measure down to sub-zero temperatures. It uses electrochromic displays to visually indicate when the environment is above or below threshold temperatures.

The customizable temperature indicator is a low-power, calibrated temperature-indication label for cold-chain distribution and storage of medical products such as medications, biomaterials, and blood bags. The card can also be used for controlled-temperature shipment of premium foods.
