This video demonstrates the Viking Masek Global Packaging Technologies 8S-235 premade pouch machine, an automatic rotary pouch packer that can be used for medical test kits and other products. The eight-station machine offers pouch presence detection (if no pouch, then no filling or sealing), zipper opening, detection of whether a bag is open, and date coding. The machine features a pick-and-place robot that takes each component from a slotted conveyor and places it into a pouch.
