AlpVision opens its North American regional office in Chicago
AlpVision, a leader in invisible technologies for product authentication and counterfeit protection, has selected Chicago, Illinois, for its North American regional office opened on Sept. 13th, 2010, with the mission to better support the US and Canadian branches of its current customers and to acquire new clients.

Roland DGA wins label industry global award
Roland DGA Corp. has earned the 2010 Label Industry Global Award for New Innovation. The award was given this week at Label Expo Americas in Chicago and reflects the innovative technology behind Roland’s VersaUV wide-format UV-LED inkjet printer/cutter line. The recognition builds on a growing list of accolades for VersaUV, including past DPI and EDP awards.

Clarifoil launches Facebook page
Clarifoil has launched a new page on the social networking site facebook. Clarifoil’s facebook page allows anyone to keep up-to-date with Clarifoil’s products, news and people.

Versatile Packagers expands
Tampa-based contract packaging company, Versatile Packagers, plans to open the doors to a new 85,000 square foot facility in July of 2011. The company recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new building, which will be located off Interstate 4 in Plant City, Florida. The company's current operation is in Tampa and will remain open in addition to the new facility. The new operation expects to have about 50 employees, many of which will come from the existing Tampa location.
