Ti enters bioplastic market by investing into BoPLA film production
Leading BoPP film producer Taghleef Industries (Ti) announced its commitment to the development of sustainable packaging by introducing a fully natural film range. The films will be based on NatureWorks PLA (PolyLactic Acid) polymers, which are marketed under the brand name Ingeo™ and which are 100% made from renewable resources. This natural origin is said to combine the advantages of both not using oil-derivates as a raw material as well as offering a wider range of end-of-life options, including recycling and industrial composting.
