Green Bay, WI, is home to more than just one championship team. Snacks made by Nutorious Nut Confections, a company based in Titletown, have landed multiple sofi Awards honors from the National Assn. for the Specialty Food Trade, were a Food of the Month selection by the QVC shopping network and landed a Golden Chile Award in the Fiery Food Challenge. As such, when the company recently launched its new Pumpkin Palooza nut snack, the product called for packaging befitting a winner.

"This incredible snack represents a great opportunity for retailers to offer something new and exciting to their customers," says Jennifer Gille, company co-founder.

The newest Nutorious snack, like the flavor varieties launched before it, is housed in a stand-up multilayer metallized pouch, manufactured by Flair Flexible Packaging. The 4-oz pouches feature easy-tear notches, zipper closure and a hole at the top, so that retailers can either stand the product on shelves or hang on a rack display. Brightly colored graphics and prominent product photography on the pouch's front underscore the quality of the ingredients and entice hungry shoppers to try the sweet and savory snack inside.
