The EcoLock System™ features a blister flange and is designed to eliminate the cross contamination of paper to plastic so as to maximize post-consumer-recycling capabilities. Compatible materials include recycled plastics, papers and paperboard, says the co., and EcoLock is also able to incorporate electronic security features. It can reportedly be implemented in current production lines and use existing heat-seal equipment.
