Bottles Debut in Limited-Time Pepsi Pineapple Promotion
A returning promotion from Pepsi and Little Caesars puts pineapple on beverage packaging, not pies.
Pepsi Pineapple is back at Little Caesars restaurants this summer, for the second year in a row, and the tropical, fruit-forward cola is sporting a new packaging design.
Through a limited-time promotion that started on July 1, 2024, Little Caesars’ customers can buy an order of the chain’s popular Crazy Puffs handheld pizzas together with a 20-oz bottle of Pepsi Pineapple for $4.99. Customers can order the bundle either online or through the pizza chain’s app.
Co-branded label graphics on the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle tell the story of the promotion and product. Floating pineapple chunks and the red, white, and blue Pepsi logo fill the center of the label, and the Little Caesars logo — a cartoon Caesar, eating pizza — appears on the left side.
The nationwide promotion marks the first time Pepsi Pineapple has been sold in the 20-oz size.
Pepsi Pineapple debuted in 2020 and was re-launched in Summer 2023 as part of a highly successful, limited-time Little Caesars promotion. For that partnership, the drink was packaged in 16-oz, co-branded aluminum cans.
"Pineapple on pizza may still be debatable, but pizza lovers have made Pepsi Pineapple a clear winner,” said Scott Finlow, chief marketing officer of PepsiCo Global Foodservice, in a prepared statement.
“Little Caesars fans love coming in for exclusive flavors they can’t get anywhere else — we saw that last year within the first week of releasing Pepsi Pineapple in restaurants,” added Greg Hamilton, chief marketing officer at Little Caesars.
This year’s summertime Pepsi Pineapple promotion will continue through July 14, 2024, or while supplies last at participating Little Caesars restaurants.
