Vital Earth manufacturers 100 percent natural, 100 percent sustainable peat-free composts made from recycled garden waste. Its Chicken PooTM product is a rigorously researched fertilizer with wholly natural ingredients sourced from free range British hens. The product's quirky and colorful name aims to appeal to both established gardeners and younger enthusiasts.
To extend its branding to Chicken Poo's packaging, Vital Earth chose 10 L pails supplied by RPC Containers Ltd. The large format comfortably holds and protects 7 kg of the fertilizer and also offers a large display area for the brightly colored, comic-like graphics that are dry-offset printed onto the container.
"We were eager to capture the unique and exciting nature of Chicken Poo with a vibrant, engaging packaging solution, and RPC has shown enormous skill and co-operation in meeting our ambitious plans for the brand," comments Maryanne Stokes, sales and marketing manager at Vital Earth.
