Developed for the co.'s ACS semi-automatic bag-sealing systems is a compression belt that replaces foam as the compressible material. At 12 in. W, the new equipment has a larger overlapping belt that is layered upon the main compression drive belt in waves, the co. says, adding that the new laced belt—sliced into 3/4-in. fingers to perfectly conform to products—can be added to existing systems easily.
