Converting technology on display at CMM

The biennial CMM International, April 18 to 21 at Chicago's McCormick Place South, is the only converting-exclusive event where all the various converting segments come together under one roof. The show serves the worldwide converting marketplace from digital prepress/workflow solutions to printing processes through to finishing. The Consumer Packaging & Converting Connection program probes strategic-level, results-oriented relationships between consumer packaged goods products and their converter supplier partners. The program runs over two days with multiple presentations on innovations that enhance production and supply-chain efficiency. The executive-level conference focuses on relationship management-based solutions necessary to enable CPGs and their converters to work together. Registration is free.

A full conference with 28 presentations is scheduled over three days. The general conference will examine those trends and technologies driving today's converting and package printing marketplace. The program is presented by industry leaders and organizations at the forefront of technological advances and industry trends. Registration for the conferences is $350 for all three days or $180 for one day. Tuesday evening features the Excellence Awards Reception and Converter of the Year Award announcement. That networking reception is $75. The exhibit is segmented into seven important markets: flexible packaging, digital workflow, tag & label/narrow web, inks & coatings, folding cartons, corrugated boxes/POP, and nonwovens. Registration for the exhibits is $25 in advance, $40 onsite. For more information, contact Wendy Parsley, senior marketing and conference manager, at 212/268-4160 or visit www.cmmshow.com.
