Francis Ford Coppola Presents, LLC, serves up sophistication for the single-serve wine market. The co. is using a recyclable PET “trattoria glass” with a foil lid for 6.3-fl.oz servings of its limited-edition Wine by the Glass line in the company’s Rosso (red) and Bianco (white) varietals.

While the Coppola name is closely associated with the Oscar-winner’s movies, such as American Graffiti and The Godfather, the Coppola family has a long history producing wines.

According to the Rosso & Bianco website, Francis Ford Coppola’s grandfather made casual wines in the basement of his New York apartment building, using concrete vats that he constructed himself. Coppola’s Wine by the Glass continues this tradition by presenting the wine in a single-serve, trattoria-style glass format that can be served in a variety of venues.
