Clip Creative, a London and Nottingham based creative agency, have unveiled their newly designed packaging for America's largest crab meat company Blue Star Foods. Headquartered in Miami, FL, Blue Star Foods is an international company that produces premium crab meat in production facilities all over the world.

After the initial meeting in Miami Clip Creative's specialist food and drink division communicated directly with the CEO John Keeler via email and Skype to produce the new packaging design. Clip Creative used their three stage branding and packaging process which they have developed over the last thirteen years to ensure they provided the best possible design solution.

Blue Star Foods CEO John Keeler commented "I commissioned Clip Creative to design my packaging as I was very impressed with their knowledge, creativity and passion for the food industry. I knew they could deliver stunning designs on time and on budget. I already have another project for them to work on."

The crab packaging project involved turning the original vivid American packaging in to a sleek and clean look that would be suitable for the European market. The design also had to incorporate translated versions for the European market. Clip Creative's in-house photographer also carried out the product photography for six varieties of the crab meat. The images were then used on the packaging and marketing literature.

Anish Mistry, managing director at Clip Creative commented, "Our aim was to create a simple, clean and effective design that would display the six variants of the Blue Star crab meat. The patented pouch design did have some limitations but the end result looks amazing and the client was incredibly impressed. So much so that since then we have produced further marketing materials, mock ups of the pouches for buyers, another sub brand and we have also been approached by two South American brands to do their packaging as well."

Clip Creative and PR is based in London and Nottingham and they provide a range of services from branding, design, public relations, social media and photography.

The products will be sold through Gold Foods in the UK and will be available from selected retail outlets.
