The Liqui-Box™ StarAsept™ UniSeal is brought in as a superior design to the co.'s original StarAsept fitment. The new fitment eliminates the rubber O-ring for a one-piece structure that is said to provide a more robust aseptic process. The fitment is made with higher-temperature-resistant materials required for certain applications and provides for increased flexibility in terms of sterilization cycle time based on the size of bag being filled, the co. says.
