MGS Machine’s Impulse™ Friction Feeder offers customers increased productivity based on easy-to-use controls, minimal tool-less setup and quick machine maintenance for maximum uptime, says the company. The Impulse™ Friction Feeder is said to run at speeds of 400 parts per minute (or greater based on the application), and handles products ranging in size up to 12 inches wide by 12 inches long with a thickness up to .750 inches. The Impulse™ has the flexibility to process a wide variety of material types, including sheets, plastic cards, forms, folded documents, envelopes, magazines, brochures and greeting/novelty cards, according to the company. Several options are available to customize the machine to meet exact processing needs, including double feed detection, low-level magazine sensors, batch counting capability, stack light indicators, warning buzzers, etc.
