Using its proprietary SurShot™ multilayer and jar blow-molding technologies, the co. has created a clear PET (polyethylene terephthalate) jar suitable for hot-packed food products and designed to prevent oxygen ingress. The co. says its wide-mouth jar is an industry first, combining hot-fill capabilities in a temperature range of 195-205 deg Fahrenheit in a container with PCR (post-consumer resin) content from 60 percent to 70 percent.
