The Institute of Packaging Professionals is now accepting entries for the 2014 AmeriStar Package Awards competition.
Considered North America's most prestigious packaging award, the AmeriStar honors the best packages of the year in 14 categories. In addition, the competition also recognizes top AmeriStar awards for Best of Show; Design Excellence; and Sustainability.
New for 2014, AmeriStar entries will be submitted and judged online, so the program will cut entry preparation time and shipping costs.
IoPP Elite members receive a 25 percent discount off the regular AmeriStar Entry fee of $799.
The entry deadline is Mar. 3, 2014. Virtual judging will take place Mar. 17-28 and winners will be notified in April.
AmeriStar awards will be presented at a gala ceremony at EastPack in New York City, June 10-14, along with the 2014 Visionary Awards from Packaging Digest and Pharmaceutical & Medical Packaging News. More information about the 2014 Visionary Awards program will be available soon.
