Aimed at preventing counterfeiting is CodeStream laser-marking technology, which the co. describes as an invisible liquid coating laydown on all substrates that receive an ultra-high-density laser mark. If tampering is attempted, the mark becomes tamper-evident. The co. says the coating can be applied via existing flexo, offset and gravure presses in-line, and is fast and clean without producing airborne particulates.
