Nothing puts the brakes on holiday cheer like impossible-to-open holiday packaging. To help parents avoid yuletide temper tantrums, Mattel has released a YouTube video showing how easy and worry-free the packaging of two of its toys can be. Tanya Mann, vp of girls packaging, demonstrates how to liberate the Barbie Hairtastic doll from her packaging. Then, Chris Down, vp of design for boys, shows off the try-me package holding the Mater truck from Disney's Cars 2 film, demonstrating how to quickly remove the vehicle from the carton.
