Just BornFor the second year in a row, candy maker Just Born has won the non-chocolate candy category of CSN's (Convenience Store News) Best New Products Award - this year for its new MIKE AND IKE RedRageous!. MIKE AND IKE Lemonade Blends won in 2010.

Donald Houston, Senior Brand Manager of MIKE AND IKE, commented, "We are very honored that our MIKE AND IKE Brand has again been recognized by CSN. We worked hard to offer our fans another delicious new MIKE AND IKE combination. MIKE AND IKE RedRageous! is a sweet new collection of MIKE AND IKE reds exploding with chewy fruit flavors, which include cherry, watermelon, raspberry, strawberry and fruit punch."

MIKE AND IKE Red Rageous! is packaged in a 6 oz. theater box, 2.12 oz count goods bag, and .78 oz changemaker box.

Winners in the 15th annual Convenience Store News Best New Product Awards competition were chosen by a consumer panel administered by a New York-based research firm, this year's entries were rated on the basis of taste, value, convenience, healthfulness, quality ingredients, preparation requirements, appearance and packaging.

Donald Houston received the award on behalf of Just Born at the NACS Show (National Association of Convenience Stores) in Chicago on October 3rd.
