A new packaged product from Italy hits the Hong Kong market in an especially elaborate and premium package. The packaging for Redoro Frantoi Veneti is designed to add more value to the extra virgin olive oil, which is a product category that is maturing in many markets and facing growing competition from private label during these economically difficult times.

The oil is filled into an embossed tin-plate bottle with an indulgent/expensive-looking silver coloring. It features a litho-printed, self-adhesive foil label on the front and a rear self-adhesive paper label that was printed flexo. A plastic spout, likely in PP, is inserted into the neck. Closure is an injection molded acrylic cap, safety sealed with a shrink band.

For an even more elaborate touch, the bottle is wrapped round with a veneer sheet of wood formed into a tube and tied-closed with a pseudo-leather strap.
