Mrs. Butterworth’s bottles dress up for the holidays

Mrs. Butterworth's, one of America's favorite spokes figures, is showing her holiday spirit by wearing her first series of designer outfits. With season-specific labeling, these holiday bottles are a part of the 2010 decorative series and are available for a limited time in the Original flavor.

Colorful full-body (ha!) shrink labels conform to the bottle's signature shape in three personalities: The Caroler, Mrs. Claus and The Gift Giver.

Brand owner Pinnacle Foods is promoting these festive holiday bottles as collectibles, counting on their draw as memorabilia for people who fondly remember Mrs. Butterworth's from their childhood.

In their press release, the company is also encouraging consumers to collect all three versions: "The satisfaction of completing a collection is a sense of fulfillment and having the option to trade or sell makes it even more exciting. So if you are one of the lucky people who can find these Mrs. Butterworth's holiday bottles at a store near you, go get them before they run out! If you can't find Mrs. Butterworth's fun holiday bottles and you love a challenge, challenge friends and families to search for all three. Be creative, divide and conquer and share with others how you found the limited edition bottles!"

Mrs. Butterworth's limited-edition holiday bottles are available in the 24 oz. size and at the same price as the original Mrs. Butterworth syrup.

Pinnacle Foods says it plans to introduce other limited-edition bottles in 2011.
