National Tomato Brand Introduces Consumer-Friendlier Packaging
March 11, 2015
Tomato brand Dei Fratelli has developed a new look for its family of products, as well as enhanced product features. The new labels will be found in grocery stores beginning late 2008, showing consumers that they can enjoy their favorite dishes with more taste and all natural, gluten-free ingredients.
This new packaging initiative, overall, represents enhanced quality features, improved readability for customers, and a transformation from traditional salt to sea salt in most of its products.
The new labels are aimed at allowing consumers to more readily identify Dei Fratelli products. Dei Fratelli primarily produces canned tomatoes and tomato products along with sauerkraut. A complete assortment of over 100 items is available in both retail and foodservice sizes, packed in metal cans, glass and flexible packaging.
"Developing better relationships with our customers, bringing the highest quality products to dinner tables and continuously looking for ways to meet consumers' expectations is a huge part of our vision at Dei Fratelli," says Steve Hirzel, President, Hirzel Canning Company & Farms. "For four generations, we've been providing innovative ideas and products and will continue to do so to earn a seat at your dinner table. These product improvements will help impact the world from our home in Toledo, Ohio."
