Pepsi is ready to "blitz" the Super Bowl with G2, a low-calorie electrolyte beverage with 25 calories per eight ounce serving. Released in September 2007, Pepsi is calling G2 a 'low-calorie' off-the-field beverage and is looking to make inroads into the functional-beverage market. One look at the bottle and the resemblance to the king of functional beverages, Coke's Vitaminwater, is plain to see. The clear-label enhances the simple, clean design for G2 and its three different varities: fruit punch, grape and orange. Here's to a 'functional' Super Bowl.
