The co.introduces QuadPlus and QuadMax3 PET containers designed to offer improved strength for hot-fill beverage applications. Both. with 43-mm finishes. are developed for more rigid, stronger alternatives for 46-, 48- and 64-oz sizes, and enable switching to rectangular footprints without investing in changeparts. The co. points to advantages of lightweighting plus increased cube efficiency of 15 percent per bulk pallet of empty containers and eight percent for cases of filled containers per pallet versus stock, 64-oz rectangular containers.
