The release of its 10/100-MB/sec Ethernet port on its Model 940 PositionDrive is announced by the co., which notes that the port is fully-hardware-802.3-compliant. The 940 is described a high-performing digital servo drive with a simple yet robust motion controller that can operate AC servos and AC induction motors. The port is said to allow the unit to connect to any Ethernet network and use a range of network equipment.
